Dubai British School Jumeira has been Highly Commended in the Public Building category at the Identity Design Awards 2024—a testament to how innovative design can transform education.

As Koda, we designed the school itself, shaping a space that fosters learning, creativity, and connection. As Kidzink, we brought the interiors to life—crafting everything from dynamic learning environments to bespoke furniture, including one of the largest custom-built pieces ever installed in a Dubai school!

This recognition highlights our commitment to pushing boundaries in educational design, creating inspiring, functional, and truly student-centred spaces. We’re proud to see our vision celebrated on this stage, reinforcing our mission to redefine the future of learning environments.

In early 2025, Koda’s Mangrove Café, designed for Taaleem schools, was honoured with the prestigious German Design Award in the Excellent Architecture – Interior Architecture category.

This award celebrates our commitment to redefining school spaces—turning traditional dining areas into vibrant, multi-functional hubs that bring students, teachers, and parents together. By blending thoughtful design, sustainability, and community-focused innovation, we’re proving that school environments can be just as inspiring as the learning that happens within them!

Singapore says School Café Among the World's Best! 

World Architecture Festival Finalist:
Mangrove Café

In 2024, our innovative design for the Mangrove Café at Dubai British School Jumeira was shortlisted among the top 10 in the Bars and Restaurants category at the World Architecture Festival.
 
This prestigious recognition highlights our commitment to redefining educational spaces, transforming a traditional school dining area into a vibrant, multi-functional hub that fosters community and engagement.
 
Being acknowledged alongside leading global designs underscores the impact thoughtful architecture and interior design can have within educational environments.
